1. Facilities

Facilities have the following characteristics:

Cargo: Shows how many of each type of resource can be stored in this facility.

Planet (attack, defense, speed): The first number indicates the amount of planetary damage this facility inflicts. The second number indicates the amount of damage it absorbs from planetary attacks. The third number shows how quickly the facility acts against planetary attacks. The higher this number is, the earlier it acts in the battle sequence.

Planet Buffs (attack, defense): The first number indicates the amount of planetary damage bonus buff this facility grants to your units. The second number indicates the amount of planetary defense bonus buff.

Space (attack, defense, speed): The first number indicates the amount of space damage this facility inflicts. The second number indicates the amount of damage it absorbs from space attacks. The third number shows how quickly the facility acts against space attacks. The higher this number is, the earlier it acts in the battle sequence.

Space Buffs (attack, defense): The first number indicates the amount of space damage bonus buff this facility grants to your units. The second number indicates the amount of space defense bonus buff.

The total speed of a facility is the sum of its planetary and space speeds.

Command Center This is the fundamental building of your colony. The higher the level of this building the more complex the facilities that you can construct in your colony. For a building type to become available you need to discover the required technology and may also need the Construction Yard's level high enough to support it.

For each level of this facility you get a 2 level bonus on your Engineering skill when building a new facility or upgrading an existing one.

Hydroponic Farm Food is one of the most crucial materials for your colony. It is used to keep your buildings running and your armies well-fed.

Buildings have a running food cost per hour. Your armies also consume Food, so make sure you have enough Farms to support everything in your colony.

Solar Power Generator Building facilities in your colony and training armies both need energy. The Solar Power Generator taps into the energy coming from the Sun and converts it into electricity.

Naturally, higher level Generators produce more energy per hour.

Mining Camp This facility produces the raw materials needed to construct buildings and troopers.

Higher level Camps produce more minerals per hour.

Chemical Factory Silicon is a special resource that is used in high-tech gear and needs dedicated processing in Chemical Factories.

Storage Area Silicon, minerals, nuclear alloys, food and every other material in your colony must be stored in appropriate Storage Areas. What's more, this facility protects some resources, up to 10% of its maximum capacity, against looting by attackers.

Be careful not to produce more than the capacity of your Storage Area, because excess materials are simply wasted!

The higher its level the more resources your Storage Area can manage. You may also build more than one and the total storage capacity is the sum of them all.

Research Lab Information is valuable! A state-of-the-art Research Center mobilizes your people to seek more, be it scientific, military or technological.

This building produces Research Points, needed to unlock technologies, spy on your enemies or defend your colonies against enemy eyes.

Barracks Your armies defend your colonies and expand your interests in the solar system. In the Barracks you can train ground troops, foot soldiers ready to obey your command.

Higher level Barracks give you access to more advanced troops and also increase training speed.

Your Barracks also help defend your colony against attacks, by providing a bonus to the planet attack of any defending troops.

Auto Mobile Factory Improve your armies by constructing advanced military vehicles. Tanks are slow but extremely well armoured and form an excellent line of defense for your more attack-oriented units.

Higher level Factories give access to more advanced units and also increase overall unit construction speed.

Defense Grid The Defense Grid surrounds your colony and forms a durable barrier against planetary attacks as well as increasing the planetary defense of all units defending the colony during an attack.

Force Field Generator Creates a force field to protect your colony against space attacks; the field absorbs damage by star attackers. The Force Field Generator also increases the defense bonus against star attacks of defending units in the colony during an attack.

Orbital Yard This facility is used to construct advanced starships, which can only be built in orbit, away from planetary gravity.

High level Orbital Yards provide access to more advanced ships and provide a bonus to unit construction speed.

Orbital Yards are also equipped with sophisticated targeting systems that assist colony defenders during an attack, increasing their star attack.

Astartium Distiller This facility produces Astartium, one of the most valuable and sought after resources in the Solar System.

The higher the level of this building the bigger the amount of resources it produces. You may build more than one Astartium Distiller on your colony, but remember they only work on Tethys.
